Read ch 16-17. Complete writing assignment of Katherine's or Mike's journal entry from the fire.100 word min.

 Due Thurs. Feb. 23rd.

 Bible: Wednesday, February 8: Bring the handout "Pastoral Training Course - Fruit of the Spirit" back to class. Journal about something we talked about in the last class (Fruit -Gifts; Character - Charisma; Applying the Bible to your life, etc.). It needs to be at least 3 sentences, but I'm expecting a little more effort than that. Memorize James 1:22 from the NIV.
 

American Sign Language:  On Thursday, January 23, we'll be making a library run.  Bring a current library card, if you have one. 

 Pre-Algebra: P. 191 - # 3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 13, 16, 17, 18, 21; p. 192 - #2-24 (evens only); square and square root charts up through 15.

 Latin:  Write 5 Latin sentences, Each must include an Adjective, Noun and Verb.  Make sure each adj. agrees in number, case and gender.

Geometry: Section 3.14 - 5 and 6; section 3.15 - 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7; section 3.16 - 1, 4, 5; section 3.17 - 1 through 7.

        Discussion: What does it mean to be mature?
        • Physical   • Emotional   • Social    • Spiritual
            What are the signs of maturity?
            How does society and culture make it harder to keep our minds on pure things? What does it mean to be morally pure?

        Review for Quiz A.
        Homework: Read Chapter 13 pages 343-354.
            Write a letter to your teenagers, one to your daughter, one to your son. Include in your letter your views on sexuality and abstinence. Share with your teenager why you believe the way you do and what circumstances they may encounter in their teenage years that will challenge their faith. Each letter should be 1-2 pages long.

Wednesday, Feb. 22:
        Take Quiz A.    Review for Chapter 13 test. Homework: Study for Chapter 13 test.

Wednesday, Feb. 29:
        Take Chapter 13 test.
        Homework: Read Chapter 14 pages 359-371. Take notes to hand in on Monday. Fill out Vocabulary exercise, Worksheet 1, 3 & 4. Hand in on Monday.
