• Writing
  Practice writing your first and last name using upper and lower case letters. Please encourage your child to form upper and lower case letters correctly. For example, upper case letters fill up the whole writing space from 'sky' to 'ground'.



• Reading
  Practice recognizing the letters of the alphabet, upper and lower case.



• Math
  Practice writing and recognizing numerals to 30. Count to 30 by 2's and 100 by 5's and 10's.



• Personal Information
  Help your child recite their first and last name, telephone number, address, and birthdate.



• Fine Motor Skills
  Provide opportunities at home for your child to color, cut and glue.

Announcements

• Field Day is Thursday, June 17th. We are the RED team. Please have your child wear a shirt and/or shorts that are red, if possible.


• Thursday, June 17th, Friday, June 18th and Monday, June 21st are 12:35 Dismissal days for the children with June 21st as the last day of school.


• We are spending our last days of school reviewing skills we have learned and having fun.


• This year went by so quickly. It is hard to realize that we only have about a week left together. I will miss these children and hope that they miss me as well.


• Thank you for all your support and cooperation this year. It has been very important to me.


• I hope your summer days are filled with sunshine, laughter and good times with your family. This will be my last update for this school year. Be well and take care.
